60-minute IN-OFFICE Postpartum Lactation Appointment

Your appointment will consist of a health history of the dyad; a breast, nipple and oral motor function assessment; pre- and post-feed weight to evaluate transfer of milk; discussion on calibrating supply; assessment of latch/positioning; assistance with breastfeeding aids/equipment; and a care plan to help you meet your breastfeeding goals. Follow up appointments are recommended weekly under 4-6 weeks old, and as determined by you and your LC beyond that.
